Installation Tips

• Apply only to a clean, dry, smooth, and non-conductive tank surface. Clean the mounting area thoroughly before installation.
• For effective heat transfer, ensure the heater pad maintains full, even contact with the tank surface.
• Install at a minimum ambient/surface temperature of 60°F. If necessary, gently warm the mounting surface to improve adhesive bonding.
• Peel off the backing and press firmly to secure the pad.
• Connect to a properly fused DC power supply. When using multiple heater pads, wire them in parallel.
• Do not operate the heater pad on an empty tank. Dry operation may cause overheating and damage the heating element.
• Avoid heavy pressure or placing objects on the pad to maintain the integrity of the heating elements.
